Grants & Funds

1. The application must come from a school employee, a volunteer advisor/coach of a school sponsored activity or a coach/advisor of a school district youth activity and must be approved prior to the activity.
2. The request must go to assist a youth or youths who are members of the public schools.
3. If the organization to which the you or youths belong is not a public organization, then that organization cannot discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, color, handicap, marital
   status, sex, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.
4. The request must come as a result of an exceptional or unusual opportunity for a youth or youths that was earned in some regular manner which the youth or youths can reasonably
   expect to participate in, or a special opportunity for which the youth or youths qualified for as a result of some special action and not as a result of a general interest activity.
5. No single award will exceed five percent of annual funds; no group award will exceed 10 percent of annual funds. If earmarked for a particular organization or program, the award
   will not be restricted to these guidelines.
6. The foundation Board reserves the right in unusual and exceptional circumstances to make an award if the award is for a one-time purpose which will greatly benefit the school community or a member of that community.
